Full Time Barista - up to 40hrs

If you love coffee then that’s the first stage of the interview done! Just kidding.  Coffee has come a long way and today requires a lot of knowledge and skill to make that perfect cup. At The Espresso Lounge we train our baristas to use various brewing methods such as the V60 and AeroPress as well as the more well known espresso based drinks.

We only use coffee graded at 80% or higher by the SCA, a process which selects only the finest beans for roasting to deliver our perfect cup. Our baristas are taught everything from dosing to extracting and the parameters they must work within to produce consistently good results.  

At The Espresso Lounge, we are soon going to introduce a Faema E71 E, with independent boilers and group temperature settings with pre infusion, making our coffee better than ever.  We use two Mazzer grinders serving our house blend accompanied by a single origin speciality coffee.  Our EK43 is used for cupping as well as grinding coffee beans for different brewing methods.  As you can see we take our coffee quite seriously!
